Our new GeoData Hub is a platform for exploring and downloading GIS data, discovering and building apps, and engaging others to solve important issues. You can analyze and combine datasets using maps, as well as develop new web and mobile applications.

Project: GIS in the Courtroom and Project: GIS used the preparation and remediation of Hurricanes Hermine and Irma

Tallahassee-Leon County GIS team is embedded in the Leon County’s Emergency Management Operations Center prior, during, and after a major event. Hurricanes Hermine and Irma tested the GIS department's capacity to prepare and deal with the many aspects after the storm passed. COTS solutions helped us stand up applications quickly in order to visualize the activities & response.

Tallahassee-Leon County Geographic Information Systems Overhaul

In 2015, Tallahassee-Leon County Geographic Information Systems (TLCGIS) conducted a comprehensive overhaul of its public-facing website. Revisions to the website produced vastly improved accessibility across multiple device platforms, broad expansion of variety in content, and data consistency.

The Interlocal

The Tallahassee-Leon Geographic Information Systems Department is a joint interlocal agency formed in 1990 between the Leon County Board of County Commissioners , City of Tallahassee , and the Leon County Property Appraiser's Office. Funding for this effort is divided equally with the program's partners, with the Property Appraiser's Office providing property mapping information and services.
