Registered Users can use this site to schedule inspections and apply for permits that do not require plan review. Please use the following COT Portal to start the registration process for the City of Tallahassee customer portal. Registration is required by a licensed contractor to apply for and request inspections on sub trade permits through the customer portal. Commercial building permits may be applied for as a guest through the customer portal but, a licensed contractor is required before issuance of the permit. All Land Use and Environmental permit applications can be applied for as a guest or as a registered user. Although registration with the City of Tallahassee's customer portal is not required for all permit types, when you create an account you are afforded a workspace to track permits you've applied for.
